Gabriella Klein is an Israeli/American artist based in Tel Aviv.
Klein makes paintings, drawings, and monumental site-specific wall works that rely on her visual experience and sensations in her immediate surroundings.
Her work has been widely exhibited, including solo exhibitions at Maya Gallery, Hayarkon 19, Sadnaot Haomanim Tel Aviv, Habres+Partner Vienna; and group exhibits at the Israel Museum Jerusalem, Ashdod Museum, Barbour Gallery, Noga Gallery, Milchhof Pavilion Berlin, The Biennial for Drawing in Israel and The Herzliya Biennial.
She is the recipient of The Rappaport Foundation Prize for Tel Aviv Museum of Art acquisitions, Ministry of Culture Creativity Prize, Israel Lottery Foundation artist book grant, Facebook AIR Program, Mortin Godine travel grant to India, and artist residencies in China and Austria.
Klein attended The Art Institute of Chicago, received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art, and an MFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design/ Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
